Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ergo (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Ergo, our private client project-delivery platform. By accessing the portal you agree to the practices described here.

We collect the account details used to give you access: your name, email address, role, and (for clients) your company. We also process the project content in your engagement, including projects, milestones, updates, uploaded files, invoices, and the project workspace (sprints, issues and sub-tasks, comments, and activity logs). To keep the service secure and reliable, our infrastructure providers process limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps.

We use your information to operate the portal, deliver and manage your projects, send transactional notifications (for example, a new invoice or project update), and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Within the project workspace, an automated assistant we call Altus AI performs routine, rule-based actions on your behalf: for example, advancing an issue as its sub-tasks are completed, summarising a sprint, and carrying unfinished work into the next sprint. Altus AI is deterministic automation built into the portal. It does not use any third-party artificial-intelligence service and does not send your data outside the providers listed below. Its actions are recorded in the workspace activity log.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data only to run the portal on our behalf:

• Google Firebase (Google Cloud): authentication, database, and file storage, hosted in the Singapore (asia-southeast1) region.
• Cloudflare: application hosting and delivery.
• Resend: sending transactional notification emails.

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your theme and sidebar state. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Access is controlled by role. Clients can see only their own account and projects; project managers and developers can see only the projects they are assigned to; admins manage the workspace. We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers listed above, or where required by law.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to meet our obligations. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted by the role-based controls above. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can update your profile and password from Settings, or contact us for any other request.
